It’s that time of year again!! And I’m ready to take on The Mountain!
Last year obviously didn’t go to plan with me leading the race and getting a leg cramp towards the end of the race… and well, you know the result!
Prior to Sunday’s incident, we had a pretty fast car though – so there’s no reason that we can’t do it all again and come away with the results! I think given we had such a good weekend and such fast cars yet came away with no silverware means that we will certainly be fighting even harder and looking to bring home the goods!
The circuit is 6.62kms in length, has 23 corners and Sunday’s race we complete 161 laps (1000kms), which generally takes around 6 to 7.5hrs, depending on the amount of Safety Cars and the like! It’s the greatest race of the year and of course one of the most iconic tracks that we go to.
It’s always a really great weekend, the atmosphere is pumping and this round is always just so much fun.
We’ve won the race before as a team and I’m confident we can do it again.
Hope to see you out there!
